The seaside residence is designed to provide a getaway for weekend relaxation and summer vacation for a single owner and his guests. The residence is split in two levels, thus organizing the common (lower) and the private (upper) spaces.
The site is characterized by a significant 25% slope and a strong presence of nature with native vegetation, while a stretch of grey sea-beaten rocks intervene between the plot and the sea.
Being mostly a summer house, one of the basic design objectives was to ensure the unimpeded movement of users between the interior and exterior spaces and the continuous visual presence of the sea. The residence was designed to have several levels, thus corresponding to the uneven ground of the plot and ensuring the continuity between the building and its natural surrounding by a series of open spaces.
