The architectural composition has the harmonious integration into the local vineyard and in the traditional built environment of Tinos as a priority.
Following a ‘path’, an element so familiar to the Cycladic landscape, the tour starts at the level of the green roof of the building that houses the vinification process.
The winery’s buildings create a complex of three independent volumes, in reference to the small stone buildings we discover around the islands that have been build gradually over time according to the needs of their occupants. Each building houses one of the winery’s sequential production phases.
Interior and exterior areas can also be accessed by wheelchair users.
The principles of bioclimatic design have been adopted. The use of the traditional ‘sardine’ technique in the external coatings contributes to the partial self-shading of the facades
